Here is the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 18-23 Nov 2024. 

 

Jiu-Jitsu Focus: 

 

1. Adults: Mount Défense and Escapes
2. Youth: Game Skills applications
3. Women Only class: Foundations Development

 

Judo Focus (Youth and Adult):Kumi Kata (Grip Fighting) connection to Tachi Waza (Throwing techniques) Focus

  

Kickboxing Focus:

Youth: Striking and movement development

Adult: Integration of movement and combinations

 

Sambo Focus: Ku Kumi Kata connection to Tachi Waza Focus

 

 

 

Combatives Focus: Skill review and drilling

 

Notes: 

  

  1. The November raffle is ongoing, more people have started participating Two prizes have opened up (Mad Science Gym bags), but I really want to give away the Signature Pedro Sauer gi (I have one, they are really nice) so keep those entries coming!

    Remember you can earn tickets by:

I could not be happier with the quality of the instruction and the comfort level walking in the door.  Ted is an easy conversation and will defiantly keep things understandable regardless of the level you are on.  Not only do I train, but my kids train with him as well.  And, I have no reservations about recommending him to any adult or child wanting to learn.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
