Class Focus
Jiu-Jitsu Focus:
Adult: Guard Passing
Youth: Game applications
Women Only class: Foundations development
Judo Focus:
Youth: “Putting the games together”. Kumi Kata – Movement – Dynamic Throwing, and pinning
Adult: Tachi Waza Development Tuesday and Thursday. No Class Saturday (can be used as open training w/ a senior members) .
Kickboxing Focus (All): Individual Development
Sambo Focus: Throwing / Take-down development
Combatives Focus: No Combatives this week (mat can be used for open training w/senior members.
Announcements
In observance of Memorial Day, we will not have formal classes on Monday (check the GroupMe app for any pick-up training times/opportunities).
On Saturday, 31 May, Coach Ted will be traveling to Legacy Martial arts in McMinnville TN (they are one of our Judo clubs) to train with one of his former Jiu-Jitsu coaches (Renato Tavaris). Renato is a multiple-time world champion and one of the founders of Brazilian Top Team. Mad Science members are welcome to attend. Cost is $100 at the door ($75 pre-registration)
On Friday, May 30th, we will have a team teaching/training day at the Hosford Academy. This will be a great opportunity to train with all our local Pedro Sauer Black Belts! The schedule and timeline should be finalized this week.
