Ted Chittenden
Coach Ted, a native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is a retired army officer with over 30 years of martial arts experience. He is a husband and father of five.
His 20-year military service moved him all over the country and overseas, affording him the opportunity to train with some of the best Judo and Jiu-jitsu instructors in the world and to compete and teach in many countries.
Coach Ted’s five combat zone service tours, including Iraq, Afghanistan, and other places in the Middle East exposed him to hostile environments, giving him a unique perspective on martial arts applications and training methods.
