Here is the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 25-30 Nov 2024. 

 

Jiu-Jitsu Focus: 

 

1. Adults: Deep Dive into weight Distribution

2. Youth: Game Skills applications

3. Women Only class: Foundations Development

 

Judo Focus (Youth and Adult):  Kumi Kata (Grip Fighting)

 

Kickboxing Focus: Sparring concepts and mechanics

 

Sambo Focus: No Sambo This week

 

Combatives Focus: No Combative this week

 

Notes: 

  

  1. On Wednesday (27 Nov) we will not have youth classes. Adults will have an open mat from 6:00-7:30.
  2. We will be Closed Thursday through Sunday during the Thanksgiving Holiday. We ask that you do not come into the gym during that period because there will be a lot of work going on the interior of the building.

  3. Next week will be the last week to get in on the raffle. We still haven’t reached the level of entries to open up the Pedro Sauer signature gi, but we still have time! We will draw the winners on December 2nd.

I could not be happier with the quality of the instruction and the comfort level walking in the door.  Ted is an easy conversation and will defiantly keep things understandable regardless of the level you are on.  Not only do I train, but my kids train with him as well.  And, I have no reservations about recommending him to any adult or child wanting to learn.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
