Here is the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 16-21Sep 2024. 

 

Jiu-Jitsu Focus: 

 

  1. Adults: mount attacks and mount maintenance
  2. Youth: Cross Side Top
  3. Women Only class: Foundations Development

 

Judo Focus: 

  1. Adult: Uki Otoshi and Seoi nage exploration 
  2. Youth: Throwing in movement 

 

Kickboxing Focus:

 

  1. Adult: Movement and combinations
  2. Youth: Sparring concepts and mechanics

 

 Sambo Focus: SeoiN age in different contexts

 

Combatives Focus: No Combatives this week

 

Notes: 

  

  1. Coah Ted will be out of town Saturday, so no Judo or Combatives on Saturday.  Open mat is still as planned.

I could not be happier with the quality of the instruction and the comfort level walking in the door.  Ted is an easy conversation and will defiantly keep things understandable regardless of the level you are on.  Not only do I train, but my kids train with him as well.  And, I have no reservations about recommending him to any adult or child wanting to learn.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
