Here is the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 12-18 February 2024.

Jiu-Jitsu Focus (All): Guard Passing

Judo Focus (All): Competition focused skills and drilling   

Kickboxing Focus (All): Movement and distance management

Combtives: Introduction of bladed weapons / creating and controlling space.

Sambo: Morte Gari (Double leg) set ups and applications.

Notes:

1. On Saturday we will be supporting a group seminar in Maryville, as a result we will not have combatives; we will still have open training at 1:00.  If you want to attend the clinic see coach Ted for details.     

2. Blue Belt Test: The blue belt test will be March 9^th at 12:00. We will send out a separate note this week for eligible participants. These are fun events for all, we get to support the people testing and we get to participate in the rolling portion – try and make it if you can.

3. We have some additional gym swag that will be available; hats, beanies, and a few bags are new to the line-up, plus we still have some fight shorts, rash guards, t-shirts and a few sweatshirts still available.  

4. Master Sauer will be conducting a seminar at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu of Kentucky (one of our affiliates) Feb 24-25. This is a great chance to learn from professor; plus Scott Smith and his folks are awesome people – you will not be disappointed if you go.
