Mad Science New Schedule Starting 5 Feb 2024

Starting Monday February 5th we are starting the new schedule. Here are the highlights:
 
1) No changes to the youth program or times
 
2) Mat 1 is the main Jiujitsu/Judo floor on the top floor
 
3) Mat 2 is the kickboxing room on the lower floor.
 
4) "Open" means that the space is available for drilling and training but is not a dedicated instructional class
 
5) The weight room is available for se anytime the gym is open for anyone high school age and up.
 
6) Adult Jiu-Jitsu Monday through Friday will start at 7:15 (Mat 1)
 
7) Combatives classes have been added to Mondays and Saturdays (Mat 1)
 
8) Sambo class has been added to Wednesdays (6:15 /Mat 1)
 
9) Kickboxing is four days a week now (Mat 2)
 
We will start this schedule on Monday Feb 5th, if we need to make adjustments as we go, we will but we will try it as written and see if it is effective and efficient. After a few weeks, please provide feedback (positive or negative) so we can better asses the effectiveness.

I could not be happier with the quality of the instruction and the comfort level walking in the door.  Ted is an easy conversation and will defiantly keep things understandable regardless of the level you are on.  Not only do I train, but my kids train with him as well.  And, I have no reservations about recommending him to any adult or child wanting to learn.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
