Here are the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 30 Oct to 5 Nov 2023.

 

Jiu-Jitsu Focus:

  1. Adults: Gi/No gi: Turtle Position: defending from the turtle and attacking the turtle
  2. Youth: Linking techniques together / Maintaining mount and mount attacks

Judo Focus:

  1. Adult: Kumi kata deep dive continued
  2. Youth: Skill development and drilling

Kickboxing Focus:

  1. Adult: Fighting inside the pocket and creating angles review
  2. Youth: Skill development and drilling

 

Notes:

  1. NO Youth classes on Tuesday – Happy Halloween!
  2. If you placed order for fight shorts or hoodies, they are in.
  3. We are going to transition the lesson plans and notes to the private members page soon, if you are not following it, please add in in the next few weeks.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
