Here is the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 28 Aug – 1 Sep 2023.

 

Jiu-Jitsu Focus:

  1. Adults: Top Side Control Attacks.
  2. Youth: Applications of Games to Techniques / Side Control Attacks

Judo Focus:

  1. Adult: Forbidden Judo: Waza from before the leg grab rule
  2. Youth: Foundation building – balance, grip and focus.  

Kickboxing Focus All: Concept Review/ Drilling: Angles, Defense, Distance., Counter Strikes

 

Notes:

  1. There is one tumbler left, but if there is interest we can order more.

     

  2. Have a great week and train hard!
  3. The A/C is repaired so we are back to full gi on MON/TUE/THU/SAT.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
