Here is the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 26-30 June 2023.

 

Jiu-Jitsu Focus:

Adult: Deep Dive into Choke Defense Part 3 + Deliberate Armlock Defense parts 1-3.

Youth: Six-week challenge Lessons 5,6, 12; movement concepts applied to techniques

 

 

Judo Focus (All): Footwork for throwing Drills.

 

Kickboxing Focus (All): Footwork Development

 

 

Notes:

 

  1. Starting the week of July 1st, we will be sending the weekly lesson plan and notes via email (versus SMS) as we migrate to a new background software platform. We will still post the weekly lesson plan and notes on the Facebook Page and the Blog.  
  2. We will have schedule adjustments the week of July 4th, we will have that finalized in the next few days. We will send out the schedule via email later in the week (and it will go out again on Monday the 3rd as normal)

I could not be happier with the quality of the instruction and the comfort level walking in the door.  Ted is an easy conversation and will defiantly keep things understandable regardless of the level you are on.  Not only do I train, but my kids train with him as well.  And, I have no reservations about recommending him to any adult or child wanting to learn.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
