Mad Science Lesson Plan for 13-17 February 2023.

 It’s Vale Tudo Week!!! Come in and learn the true fighting side of Jiu-Jitsu (you will not need a gi for Jiu-Jitsu this week – bring at least a gi top for Judo classes).

 

Jiu-Jitsu Focus:

  1. ADULT: Vale Tudo Week!!!
  2. YOUTH: NO GI Week!!!

 

Judo Focus:

    Youth: Concepts review and applications (bring at least a gi top)!

               Adult: Harai Goshi Entry review (bring at least a gi top)!

Kickboxing Focus:

  1. Youth: Moving Combinations and partner drilling / Sparring concepts
  2. Adult: Deliberate defense work.

 

 Note:

 

  1. You will not need a gi for regular classes this week because it is Vale Tudo week for the adults and No GI week for the youth. Bring at least a Gi top for Judo (you can wear shorts if you wish).

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
