Here are the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 19-23 December 2022.

  

Jiu-Jitsu Focus: 

 Adult: Deep Dives (Mini seminars) - 1) Understanding Connection,  2) Understanding Weight Distribution

 Youth: Skills review and Christmas Class

           

Judo Focus (ALL): Drilling and Randori

 

Kickboxing Focus:Drilling and sparring

 

Notes:

  1. Tuesday is the youth Christmas class/part:
    1. 4:45 – 4:50: Promotions and Stripes
    2. 4:50 – 5:05: Warm-up drilling (judo and Jiu-Jitsu blended )
    3. 5:05 – 5:45 Judo/Jitsu Focused Games
    4. 5:45-6:00 Snacks and presents
    5. 6:00 Christmas Break Starts

       

  2. Monday and Tuesday Adult Jiu-Jitsu classes will be deep dives into Jiu-Jitsu concepts.

     

  3. We will be officially closed Next week 26-31 December but check the gym Facebook page for unscheduled open training sessions (we typically have open training sessions during the breaks that are not on the schedule).

I could not be happier with the quality of the instruction and the comfort level walking in the door.  Ted is an easy conversation and will defiantly keep things understandable regardless of the level you are on.  Not only do I train, but my kids train with him as well.  And, I have no reservations about recommending him to any adult or child wanting to learn.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
