Here are the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 28 Sep to 2 Dec 2022.

Jiu-Jitsu Focus: Blue Belt Week

Judo Focus: Concept development and skill integration (all)

Kickboxing Focus: Bag Work / Partner drilling / Sparring concepts (all).

Notes:

1. All classes are on track as normal this week.

2. This week’s adult Jiu-Jitsu class will be blue belt lead. This is an opportunity for our blue belts to develop teaching skills and a greater depth of understanding of their techniques (doing Jiu-Jitsu is 10X easier than trying to articulate it to someone else). It should be fun for us all; our blue belts get an exceptional opportunity to grow and all us lowly black, brown, and purple belts get to be in the peanut gallery this week :)

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
