Here are the Mad Science notes and lesson plan for 22-28 October 2022.

Jiu-Jitsu Focus: Back Attacks (All)

Judo Focus:

Switching weak side and strong side (all)

Conceptual applications from the Nage -No- Kata (Adults)

Kickboxing Focus: Bag Work / Partner drilling / Sparring concepts (all).

Notes:

1. This weekend Coach Ted will be fighting in the NC state Sambo Championships. This is a bucket list thing he wanted to try and the opportunity to do it presented itself. As a result, there will not be a morning class on Friday or the No-Gi class Friday afternoon. Open mat sessions are still on.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
