Here are the Mad Science notes and lesson Plan for 12-17 Sep 2022.

 

Jiu-Jitsu Focus: Guard Attacks(all)

Judo Focus: Tai Otoshi (all)

Kickboxing Focus: Bag Work / Partner drilling / Sparring concepts (all).

 

Notes:

1. Congratulations to Cody M., Isaac T., and Nathaniel T. All three competed in the “Good fight” tournament in Cookeville this past weekend, all three won their divisions!

2. All morning adult Jiu-Jitsu classes are on track this week: WED/FRI from 06:00-07:00

3. We are planning the next Mad Science Open Practice Tournament for October 15th. (Youth and Adult Divisions)

I could not be happier with the quality of the instruction and the comfort level walking in the door.  Ted is an easy conversation and will defiantly keep things understandable regardless of the level you are on.  Not only do I train, but my kids train with him as well.  And, I have no reservations about recommending him to any adult or child wanting to learn.

I highly recommend trying mad science judo and Jiu-Jitsu. I am from out of town, but visit the area a couple times of year and have been looking for a go to gym to train at while in town. I showed up for a Friday open mat, and the training was great. Ted (the Black Belt Instructor) treated me like a valued member of his school, and by the end of the night I felt like I was a true member of the school. great people, great atmosphere, and great instruction. I highly recommend to anyone in the oak ridge/ Knoxville area to give this school a shot. I will definitely be back when I come back to town
